A letter from me to you

My name is Gytis, but everyone calls me "G." Not sure why.

I've always been the type who enjoys tinkering with and fixing things, although, believe it or not, I'm not much of a performance car guy. What I love is figuring out how things work. That curiosity has taught me more about vehicles than I ever expected, and I'm still happiest getting lost in a really tough problem. Over a decade ago, I was fortunate enough to land a job as a mechanic, and I've been doing something I truly love every day since.

My favorite moments in my career have come from going above and beyond to help my neighbors with their automotive headaches. At every shop I worked at, I noticed the same thing: the favorite customers always got a little extra, like a ride, a pickup, or someone handling the hassle for them. So I built Maven around a simple idea: everyone gets that treatment. Here, the VIP extras aren't a secret. They're how we work.

It's been a long journey, and it certainly wasn't easy, but I'm grateful for every challenge that shaped who I am today. Even more, I'm grateful to the mentors, instructors, and coworkers who took time out of their own careers to teach me. I wouldn't be where I am without those men and women. They're the ones who made me a true maven. Thank you.

They were on my mind the whole time I was building my own shop. That's why I structured everything about Maven Auto Clinic to give the next generation a clear career path through this crazy automotive industry. We're here to keep our community's vehicles on the road, and to give our up-and-coming neighbors stable, long-term careers doing work that genuinely matters to the people around them.
